What we offer: Competitive pay: £14.20/hr weekdays | £14.40/hr weekends Enhanced rates on Bank Holidays Mileage paid at 40p per mile Paid contribution to travel time Paid holiday Free DBS check Paid Award-winning training & ongoing support Access to further learning and development Clear career progression routes Flexible working hours Private pension scheme Blue Light Card discount scheme Duties will include: Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day Personal care Administering medication Assisting Clients with washing and dressing Shopping Housekeeping Meal preparation Taking Clients for appointments or outings Requirements of a Care Assistant: Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle Be able to offer availab ility either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) or evening (from 5pm) and every other weekend Commit to attending a 3-day training course Live locally to Stevenage, Letchworth & Hitchin and surrounding areas Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
