Main Objectives:
The testing and investigation of production products utilising automatic test fixtures as part of cell manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Testing of high-voltage power supplies to specification requirements.
* Provide hands-on support for manufacturing activities as needed, including basic mechanical assembly, component installation, and general production assistance.
* Completion of test reports and documentation by customer requirements and in accordance with the Quality Management System standards.
* Upgrading and modification of assemblies and finished products.
* Interpretation and implementation of changes to assemblies and finished products through documentation.
* Identifying product quality and performance issues and raising appropriate non-conformances.
* Liaising with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design, and Sales in support of meeting customer requirements and finished product quality and performance.
* Supporting the company's ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System, including seeking new ‘green’ opportunities and suggestions for business improvements.
* Adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Ability to test the product by following test procedures accurately and meeting standard times.
* Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies, and multimeters.
* Experience in high-voltage test methods and soldering/rework methods to IPC standards.
* Experience working in a lean manufacturing facility.
* Competent in MS Office.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of high voltage test methods is a distinct advantage.
