About the Role
Barts Life Sciences is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative and growing team. In this role, you will apply advanced data science techniques to healthcare data, helping to develop products and services that directly improve patient outcomes. Example projects include:
* Design models to predict disease outcomes from structured and unstructured medical records
* Use real‑time clinical data to forecast inpatient stay outcomes
Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with clinical, technical, and academic partners to advance data‑driven solutions.
Develop and deploy predictive models that help inform patient care decisions.
Translate clinical requirements into analytical pipelines and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working with healthcare or clinical data
* Strong expertise in data science and modelling (structured and unstructured data)
* Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment
* Experience with advanced computing resources and large datasets
