I am working with the UK subsidiary of a well established international Private Bank. They are currently going through a period of growth and as a result are looking to hire a Head of Regulatory Reporting which will report to the Head of Finance. Due to the firm being a Small/Medium sized business, the role will have varied responsibilities.
Ideally this individual will have a background in Regulatory Reporting within the Banking or Financial Services sector as well as having experience with ICAAP and ILAAP.
Responsibilities:
* Keep up to date with prudential regulatory requirements applicable to the Bank and ensure timely implementation of changes including updates to policies, procedures manual and relevant returns
* Review and supervision of the accurate and timely production of all prudential regulatory returns (including but not limited to BOE, FCA, COREP, FINREP, PRA110 and Pillar 3)
* Lead coordination, design and production of annual ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP process to expected high standard.
* Ensure accurate and timely production of all internal reports (including but not limited to liquidity, capital, ALCO, Group, CBN, Board and other ad hoc reports assigned by Head of Finance)
* Obtain Head of Finance and or CFO approval before submission of all prudential regulatory returns; note clearly and seek CFO approval for material judgements / policy exceptions
* Design and embed a checklist and monthly review documentation to evidence a robust review and challenge process over regulatory returns production process
Required Skills and Experience:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 5+ years experience working within the Banking or Financial Services Sector
* Having an indepth understanding of ICAAP and ILAAP as well as capital and liquidity stress testing
* Up to date knowledge of prudential regulatory requirements
