Most temporary recruitment desks operate around 18–22% margin. The examples below assume a 20% margin for illustration. Recruit Ready operates on a simple 5% of invoice model, allowing recruiters to retain the majority of the gross profit they generate.

Temp/Contractor Desk

£500k invoice → £100k GP → £10k–£20k agency earnings → £70k–£90k own business income

£750k invoice → £150k GP → £15k–£30k agency earnings → £110k–£140k own business income

£1m invoice → £200k GP → £20k–£40k agency earnings → £150k–£180k own business income

This is on average a 4 - 5 x increase on earnings!

Perm desk

£150k fees → £150k revenue → £30k–£45k agency earnings → £90k–£110k own business income

£250k fees → £250k revenue → £50k–£75k agency earnings → £150k–£180k own business income

£400k fees → £400k revenue → £80k–£120k agency earnings → £240k–£280k own business income

This is on average a 2 - 3x increase on earnings!
