My client, one of Scotland's largest local authorities are urgently seeking a Health & Safety Officer / CDM Officer to join their team on a contract basis. Reporting directly to the Programme Manager you will be responsible for a diverse Health & Safety strategy. You will assist in providing a comprehensive advisory and support service on all work programmes and CDM matters. You will be responsible for: The implementation, co-ordination, monitoring and reporting on Health & Safety matters across various contracts. Provide clients with pre-construction information for domestic new build and refurbishment projects. Ensure sub-contractors comply with current CDM regulations. Ensure the appropriate management processes and controls are in place to monitor contracts by reviewing contractor H&S audits, HSE involvement or accidents on-site. Experience required includes: Experience of Health & Safety on construction sites Demolition and new build experience Principal Designer knowledge This is a hybrid working position with full time and part time options available.
