Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Warrington (WA3)

A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Warrington (WA3) is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team after October half-term. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator who enjoys taking initiative, supporting learning across the curriculum, and leading small group or whole-class sessions.
Role Overview:
* Deliver planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher.
* Support teaching and learning across a range of age groups and subjects.
* Work alongside teachers to prepare resources, adapt lessons, and provide targeted interventions.
* Lead small groups and one-to-one support sessions to raise pupil attainment.
* Provide feedback on pupil progress and contribute to planning and assessment.
* Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification (or significant classroom experience).
* Confidence leading whole-class teaching and small group interventions.
* A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and how to support differentiated learning.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A proactive, flexible approach and a passion for helping children reach their potential.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
