Our client, a well-established and professional geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Exeter. * Salary £28,000 to £35,000

Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer Job Overview
* Conduct pre-commencement desk study research and report preparation.
* Supervise and carry out ground investigations, including soil and rock logging to industry standards.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Prepare samples and schedule laboratory testing.
* Produce site logs, data, and contribute to factual and interpretive reports.
* Adhere to the company's health, safety, welfare, quality, and environmental policies.
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer Job Requirements
* A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is advantageous).
* SSSTS & CSCS qualification and relevant health and safety training.
* 1-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical/engineering geology roles.
* A strong desire to pursue CPD and work towards professional chartership (CGeol, CEng, CSci).
* Basic IT literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise effectively with clients.
