Wraparound/School Age Childcare Coordinator
Responsibilities
* Provide oversight of wraparound/school‑age childcare provision, including mapping need and informing funding allocation
* Consult with parents/carers and providers to understand demand and shape development
* Ensure effective engagement with schools, providers, and partners to support delivery of childcare programmes
* Deliver business support, planning, and advice to develop and sustain childcare provision
* Support national initiatives, including the Free Breakfast Club Programme, through guidance and sharing best practice
* Deliver activity to increase demand, including promotion through Family Information Services and awareness of financial support
* Support, challenge, and provide quality assurance to providers to maintain high standards and drive improvement
* Monitor, report, and ensure oversight of sufficiency, sustainability, take‑up, and funding to the DfE
* Collaborate with the HAF Project Manager and partners to ensure aligned, inclusive, and sustainable provision in term time and during the holidays
* Deliver partnership working across sectors to support children and families
* Provide expertise in childcare delivery, Ofsted requirements, and quality frameworks
