Position Details:
Location: Maida Vale, Northwest London (NW8)
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Daily Rate: Paid to scale M1-UPS3 π°
Requirements:
Previous experience with secondary-age students (KS3 & KS4)
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons π
Experience working with students with Special Education & Mental Health Needs
Strong subject knowledge up to KS4, preparing pupils for examinations π
Excellent classroom and behavior management skills π
Effective communication with staff, parents, and students π£οΈ
Responsibilities:
Teach KS3 and KS4 Science (Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology)
Adapt lessons for varying learning needs π
Collaborate with students, parents/carers, and staff to ensure student progress π€
Implement EHCP requirements into lesson plans
Use a range of assessment strategies to track student progress π
Contribute to improving long-term outcomes for students π
Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent (Unqualified Teachers with relevant subject experience considered)
Valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service π
