Position Summary
:
Bentley Systems is seeking talented Full-Stack Engineer to build the next generation of infrastructure engineering applications based on the company’s iTwin Platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of engineering applications and workflows, spanning cloud and desktop and utilising the bleeding-edge technologies that are part of Bentley’s unique and rapidly growing Digital Twin ecosystem, including AI/ML, IoT, and Reality Data.
Successful candidates will join a highly skilled international team in a highly visible, mission-critical role. In this role, you will be responsible for building the next generation of engineering applications that will advance global infrastructure in exciting ways and contribute to the platform on which these applications are built.
You will bring demonstrable full-stack experience designing and developing cloud or hybrid cloud/desktop solutions, extensive knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, enthusiasm for cutting-edge technologies, and a drive to continuously experiment, challenge yourself, and learn.
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in designing and developing new features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other technologies.
2. Participate and contribute to discovery and experimentation efforts.
3. Write well-tested, well-documented, and maintainable code and APIs and participate in code reviews.
4. Commit yourself to continuous learning and adapting to and integrating new technologies.
5. Work with a team in an agile software development process.
6. Demonstrate an ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
7. Mentor team members as required.
8. Take ownership of the functionality you write and the designs you implement.
Qualifications:
9. Equivalent bachelor’s degree or training in computer science fundamentals.
10. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer.
11. Deep understanding of modern web and/or desktop application architecture, API design patterns, performance, and scale.
12. Proficient in JavaScript or Typescript, both in and web-based frontends.
13. Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming.
14. Experience working with Git or other distributed version control systems.
15. Must be proactive and results-oriented, able to work independently and solve complex problems.
16. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in production.
17. Ability to build secure software, with proven knowledge of web security and mitigation techniques.
18. Ability to work in a team with solid communication skills.
What would make you stand out:
19. Cloud-based development experience (Azure, AWS, etc.).
20. Knowledge of agile scrum development, continuous delivery, and DevOps processes.
21. Experience with web-based desktop application frameworks (Electron, Tauri, WebView2, etc.).
22. Web frontend design technologies (HTML, CSS).
23. Experience with JS client frameworks such as REACT and Angular.
24. Experience in other languages like Rust, C++, and Java is a plus.
25. Experience with AI/ML is a plus.

Please note if you are employed full-time, the salary for this position ranges from 3500 EUR gross (before taxes-Lithuania) depending on knowledge and experience.
