We are looking for a motivated andorganised Administrative and Finance Support Officer to join ourCommunities for Work plus team. This role is key to ensuring thesmooth running of our employability programme, providing vitalsupport to the team and maintaining robust systems for WelshGovernment funding.
About therole:
You will work closely with the Finance& Claims Officer and Project Manager to provide financial,monitoring, and administrative support. Your work will helpensure that our projects meet funding requirements, runefficiently, and deliver real results for local people.
What you willdo:
You will:
* Assist in preparing quarterly claims forWelsh Government and monitoring budgets.
* Compile monthly and quarterly referralinformation for returns
* Carry out weekly checks on the PODsystem to maintain accurate project records
* Support with data input and maintainingrobust monitoring systems.
* Manage a range of admin duties,including meetings, minute taking, room bookings and stockcontrol
* Maintain accurate staff records such astraining logs, driving documents, and leave calculations.
* Oversee building repairs, fire alarmtesting, and health & safety tasks.
* Coordinate procurement and ordering inconjunction with Finance officer.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues tosupport the delivery of the Communities for Work Plusprogramme.
Aboutyou:
You will be highly organised,detail-oriented, and confident working with data and financialrecords. Experience in administration, finance support, orworking on funded projects would be an advantage. You will alsobe a great communicator, able to work as part of a busy team, andcommitted to delivering high standards.
Ideally you willhave:
4 GCSE's grades C or above, or aqualification of a comparable level (eg. Intermediate GNVQ Level2, BTEC First Certificate, NVQ Level 2).
