Location: Holbeach | Full-Time – 40 hours per week | Pay: £16.93 per hour, £70.50 for sleep-in shifts

We're opening a brand-new children's residential home in Holbeach and are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to help lead and shape this exciting new service. This is more than just a job — it's an opportunity to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for young people from day one.
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring outstanding care and compliance across the board. You'll lead a team of dedicated care professionals, setting the tone for a culture of respect, safety, and growth.
You'll play a key role in:
* Supporting the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations and service delivery
* Leading and motivating a passionate care team
* Managing staff rotas, performance, and development
* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
* Creating and reviewing person-centred care plans
* Promoting a nurturing, structured, and homely environment
* Playing an active part in the launch and success of a new home
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within children's residential care
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
* Confident leadership and team-building skills
* Comfortable using digital systems for care planning and documentation
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Managment (Children & Young People) or willingness to work towards it
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager
* Experience opening or transitioning into a new residential service
