Location: This role could be based in Wythall, Telford, London, or Edinburgh, with a mix of office and home working.

The role
The Technology Process Engineer oversees the design, implementation, and optimisation of IT processes supporting our technology systems and services. The focus is on enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and quality through process innovation, standardisation, continuous improvement, and ITSM toolset integration. Collaboration with stakeholders to implement ITSM, Governance, and Management frameworks is essential.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Process Design & Optimisation: Lead the creation, documentation, and deployment of IT processes to improve service delivery and system performance.
2. Process Improvement: Regularly evaluate and enhance IT processes, identify bottlenecks, and apply best practices aligned with ITIL to meet business and customer needs.
3. Technology Integration: Ensure processes are integrated with current technologies like automation, cloud computing, and enterprise software.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Use analytics to monitor process effectiveness, identify improvements, and report KPIs to leadership.
5. Standards & Governance: Establish and enforce standards, policies, and governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
6. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks in IT processes to prevent operational disruptions.
What are we looking for?
* Understanding of IT frameworks and standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma, Agile).
* Strong knowledge of process modelling, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.
* Proven experience in process engineering, IT operations, or IT service management.
* Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycle, and infrastructure management.
* Ability to manage change and work across complex, cross-functional environments.
