Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide clinical support to our Emergency Practitioners during home visits overnight and on weekends. In this role you will attend patients in their homes, working alongside the Emergency Practitioner to deliver high-quality care. The post is based across the county with bases in Oxford, Banbury, Witney and Abingdon. You need to be flexible and able to travel to other sites at short notice to cover staff shortages in our other out‑of‑hours bases, if required. You will receive a comprehensive induction, giving you the opportunity to learn about the role and gain insight into how our other service areas operate. Working as an Emergency Nurse Assistant you will be involved in the assessment and treatment of patients in the home, working alongside our Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners. You will be a key member of the team, ensuring excellent clinical care is delivered to all patients who require urgent home assessment due to illness and palliative needs. The role will involve working weekends, nights and bank holidays when the primary care GP services are closed and it will be expected that you are flexible to work in other bases when required.
Please note: Interviews for this role will be conducted face-to-face only, due to the structure of the interview process.
