As a Fire Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety standards across our resort. Your responsibilities will include: Regular Monitoring:
Ensure all fire and safety equipment is operational and conduct weekly tests of fire alarms and visual inspections of fire extinguishers. Safety Checks:
Perform regular fire safety checks of venues and accommodation units, compiling monthly reports and enforcing fire safety regulations. Training & Compliance:
Maintain the Fire Safety portal and Logbook, conduct Fire Warden training, and collaborate with external contractors to ensure compliance with fire regulations. Incident Investigation:
Investigate fire incidents and near misses, providing guidance to stakeholders on prevention strategies. Project Input:
Offer insights on fire safety requirements for new builds and modifications, ensuring all fire risk assessments are addressed promptly. Drills & Assessments:
Ensure each venue has at least one fire drill per year and collaborate with the Resort Facilities team to resolve any fire risk assessment points. About You

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have: NEBOSH Fire Certificate (or be willing to complete it within 12 months of starting). Experience in Fire Risk Assessment. A training qualification is preferred but not essential; we provide training opportunities! Willingness to undertake the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. About Butlin's
