1:1 KS2 Teaching Assistant - Min 1 month Cover - Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking a dedicated and caring KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a busy, thriving primary school in the heart of Stafford. ASAP, for a minimum of one term on a temporary basis.
This role involves working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a pupil in upper Key Stage 2, supporting learning, development, and wellbeing within a rewarding, classroom environment. It is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the final primary years of a child's learning journey within a supportive school setting.
The role includes:
Providing 1:1 Teaching Assistant support to a pupil in KS2
Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
Supporting learning, wellbeing and development in line with KS2 requirements
Assisting the class teacher and KS2 team as required
Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with; staff, pupils and parentsWe are looking for someone who:
Has experience working in KS2 (1:1 teaching assistant experience desirable)
Is patient, caring, and reliable
Enhanced DBS
Available to start ASAP
Commute to Stafford and South Staffordshire regions.
Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs
Fully registered to work for AcademicsPay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
