Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 6 month fixed term basis.
Reporting to the Lead Procurement Manager, you will be partnering with the business, primarily Experian Consumer Services, managing marketing and media spend and BPO.
Responsibilities:
1. Run a competitive tender process with multiple vendors using our sourcing platform..
2. Engage and negotiate complex commercial and legal contract terms
3. Collaboration with our Procurement Legal representatives and in-house solicitors to assess risk amongst contracts on behalf of Experian.
4. Maintain auditable records.
5. Actively engage with wider and global procurement teams on process engineering activities and using technology to drive automation where possible, including the use of AI tools.
Qualifications
6. Procurement experience, ideally in a regulated environment. Any marketing or media procurement experience is beneficial.
7. Knowledge of UK contract law
8. A confident and experienced negotiator with experience in handling detailed negotiations
9. Experience building relationships with stakeholders
10. Experience of working with legal teams and solicitors
11. Any exposure to AI is beneficial
