About the Role
Are you a qualified and passionate Early Years practitioner looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming primary school in Blackpool is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated EYFS team this September.
You’ll work closely with the class teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Assist in planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate activities
* Maintain a secure and welcoming classroom environment
* Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with teaching staff
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
