Volunteer Social Media Volunteer - Ardnamurchan and Mull Volunteer Team | Cats Protection
Our social media volunteers use their passion and knowledge to promote the activities of the centre and raise vital funds for the cats, through channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
What difference will you make?
You will directly help cats by raising awareness of Cats Protection. A higher profile can help us raise the funds we need for our work, help people know they can adopt a cat from us, promote neutering and educate as many people as possible about feline welfare.
What are we looking for?

What will you be doing?
Through our social media platforms, you will promote the work of Cats Protection, gather information from across the organisation and locally within your team or volunteer group, write and create social media content, ensuring it complies with policies and guidelines, schedule and post content and monitor activity and respond to comments on social media channels. You will be volunteering from your own home but will have support from your volunteer team leader, the admissions centre and the social team.
Requirements include a passion for social media and experience using social media channels in a professional setting, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of using social media, excellent writing skills with good grammar and spelling, strong communication skills, willingness to be part of a team, and knowledge of the local area and its demographics.
