Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organised, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service. A valid driving license and a car is a must to facilitate travel between sites. Applicants should possess good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues alike. DBS will be obtained
Duties
* Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
* Maintain cleanliness of designated areas to meet health and safety standards
* Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
* Restock supplies as necessary to ensure continuous service
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning operations
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously
* Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within scheduled timeframes
* Hours vary we have 9-2 or 2-5 and nightshifts for commercial cleans
* Must be reliable professional.
Experience
* Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Customer service experience is desirable, with a friendly and professional approach
* Driving experience with a valid license is preferred for roles requiring site travel
