Waking Night Support Workers
We are seeking flexible specialist complex support workers to work 2-3 waking nights a week as part of a rota for an eighteen-year-old male with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and complex care needs living in the Rugby area.
The client has complex care needs, is PEG fed, requires suction, and is wheelchair dependent. He is a happy young man who enjoys interactions with his siblings, school, and care team. Support is needed with all activities of daily living.
Working Hours:
Night shifts are from 21:45 to 09:15, providing 2-1 night care. Full training and a comprehensive induction are provided.
If you have a caring nature but lack experience, we offer full training and a supportive, friendly team. You will receive an induction supported by our experienced team.
Responsibilities include:
* Peg/Enteral feeding/Medication
* Nebulisers/Suctioning
* Observation checks
* Hoisting
* Passive Physio
Candidate Requirements:
Passionate, enthusiastic, well-organized, positive attitude, flexible, family-oriented. An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Willingness to undertake the Care Certificate training is essential.
Rates of Pay:
Monday – Friday: £18.00 per hour
Saturday – Sunday: £20.00 per hour
Pay increases are available after successful completion of training and induction.
Additional Information:
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided and paid for.
