Job Description
Duties and tasks:
3. Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing financial insight and challenge to support decision-making.
4. Lead monthly management accounts preparation, including variance analysis and commentary.
5. Partner with budget holders to develop forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
6. Assist with financial modelling and scenario planning to support business cases and investment decisions.
7. Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements across departments.
8. Support the development of KPIs and performance dashboards to enhance financial visibility.
9. Collaborate with wider finance and non-finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
10. Contribute to year-end processes and liaise with auditors as required.
The Successful Applicant
Experience required:
11. Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent by experience.
12. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and influence stakeholders.
13. Proven experience in management accounting, business partnering, or financial planning & analysis.
14. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge and support senior leaders.
15. Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and reporting tools is a plus.
16. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.
