Your new role
This role is part-time with a 3 day working week and an expectation to be in their offices 1-2 days per week. Initially for a 3-6 month period, you will lead all procurement activity, acting as the organisation's expert on the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing authoritative advice to Directors and Heads of Service.
* Leading end-to-end procurement exercises, from route-to-market through to contract award.
* Ensuring use of compliant and value-driven procurement routes.
* Managing the multi-year procurement plan and ensuring adherence to governance and timescales.
* Overseeing contract management standards and the organisation's contract register.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships and leading procurement review meetings.
* Producing reports for senior leadership and driving continuous improvement.
