I’m working with a well‑established, family‑run manufacturer in the roofing and steel reinforcement sector who are looking to appoint a Sales & Operations Manager to support their next phase of growth.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for both driving sales performance and ensuring the day‑to‑day operation runs smoothly. You’ll be working closely with the directors and will play a key part in how the business moves forward.
The role:
* Managing and developing the sales function, driving revenue from both new and existing customers
* Overseeing daily operations to ensure everything runs efficiently
* Handling quotations and customer orders, ensuring accuracy and turnaround times are met
* Acting as the link between sales and production to improve overall performance
* Managing internal systems and ensuring data is kept up to date
* Supporting compliance with industry accreditations
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
What they’re looking for:
* Experience in a sales, operations or commercial role
* Ideally from construction, building materials or manufacturing
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* Good communicator with a customer‑focused approach
* Someone who is proactive, hands‑on and comfortable in a busy environment
* Confident using systems (Excel and general CRM/ERP type systems)
