This is an Employee Relations Specialist (ER) role based in our London Office. Level 5 CIPD required. Hybrid working arrangements can be discussed at interview. London based at our Wimbledon offices, SW19 8UG. ER Specialist key responsibilities: You will be working closely with the HR Business Partner and the rest of the HR team and supporting the operational managers. You will be supporting the ER processes and have a workload and responsibility dealing with specific parts of the operation. ER Specialist Functions * Work with the HR BP to advise on employee relations. * When providing advice, always ensuring employment legislation is balanced alongside a commercial approach. * Provide quality HR expertise and advice to different teams through proactive, innovative and solutions-focused business partnering, * Be approachable and provide support to staff and managers during change initiatives as well as during business as usual (performance reviews, recruitment, training etc.). * Systems, Data and Reporting of KPI’s. Monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements, through HR data analysis, to enable fact-based decision making to agreed formats and timescales. People Management * Supporting line managers to carry out the development activities identified in the plans in terms of both formal training and work-place activities at all levels. * Provide the management teams with balanced, constructive feedback and support the effective performance management and appraisal of staff to ensure continuous quality improvement. * Adhere to HATS Group Management Standards and ensure adherence to and understanding of HR and operational policies and behaviour standards. * Any other duties as assigned from time to time, by your direct line manager or by senior management, that are within the remit of the role of HR Business Partner. ER Specialist Person specification * CIPD level 5 required * Proven, effective experience in a ER Adviser role * Collaborative worker able to work closely with leadership teams * Curious, critical thinker and skilled in problem-solving, influencing and leadership skills * Good knowledge of employment law and its application in all aspects of employment and employee relations * Experience of supervisory management and development of own staff * Experience of supporting management of employees within the organisation * Skilled and adaptable communicator. * Experience of developing and supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives in a medium sized organisation. * Proven experience of using Microsoft office programs and applications.
