Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience, enabling them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to contribute effectively to our projects, as well as personal development and growth within Balfour Beatty What you'll be doing The successful candidate will drive and operate specialist plant safely, ensuring professionalism and compliance in all job responsibilities. Who we are looking for Have a good awareness of railway health and safety requirements. Able to carry out minor maintenance and repairs. Hold a current UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Hold a train driving licence (desirable). Flexibility to work around a roster that includes night, weekends, bank holidays and respond to short notice changes of plan. Successful completion of psychometric testing will be required. Reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the site. During the initial months, you will participate in daytime training courses.
