Salary: £28,509 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the setting. You’ll play a key role in supporting our team and maintaining high standards of care and education.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Leading, motivating, and developing a team of Early Years Practitioners
* Acting as a positive role model for both staff and children
* Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all
* Ensuring all requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) are met
* Overseeing Health, Safety and Welfare standards within the nursery
* Supporting the Nursery Manager in achieving maximum occupancy and quality provision
* Monitoring children’s progress and ensuring smooth transitions through each stage of their development
* Deputising for the Nursery Manager in their absence and carrying out additional duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and education
* A confident leader who can inspire, support, and motivate a team
* Flexible, proactive, and able to use their own initiative
* Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
* Knowledgeable in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (desirable)
* Holds an enhanced DBS check or is willing to obtain one
