A national environmental consultancy service provider, which has been operating for over 30 years and has a turnover of around £75 million, is looking to launch a new Earthworks division. This opportunity is a rare chance to build and own something from an early strategic stage and to shape and run a full division within the business. The core focus of the business is waste management and recycling services, and with the launch of Earthworks they aim to offer a specialist service centred on compliance and end‑to‑end material management within the earthworks sector.
Responsibilities
* Build and own the new Earthworks division from strategic launch to full operational maturity.
* Lead a small team, providing strategic vision and driving a journey of growth.
* Deliver market‑leading onsite sampling, sampling kits and geotechnical consultancy across the UK.
* Consolidate multiple touchpoints to improve project turnaround times and overall service effectiveness.
Qualifications
* Leadership experience.
* Relevant university qualification.
* Experience within Earthworks and knowledge of how it ties into waste management consultancy.
* Ability to inspire and guide a team towards growth objectives.
Salary & Benefits
Salary is dependent on experience, circa £55‑60k plus a bonus scheme and a car package.
