The Best Connection Newcastle are currently recruiting for an experienced Flexi FLT Operative to join our client's busy storage and distribution facility based in the Jarrow / South Tyneside area.
This is a temporary placement to assist with an increase in peak seasonal volume. Our client is a highly established packaging distributor known for providing a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
* Operating a Flexi / Bendi Forklift Truck safely within narrow racking aisles.
* Unloading goods-in and loading delivery vehicles with palletised protective packaging.
* Placing finished stock into high-bay storage positions using warehouse tracking systems.
* Conducting basic quality and stock counts on incoming inventory.
* Maintaining strict health and safety standards across the warehouse floors.
Requirements
* Must hold a valid, in-date Flexi / Bendi FLT License (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
* Previous experience operating a Flexi truck in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution yard.
* A friendly, proactive attitude with a strong focus on site health and safety.
* Good attention to detail when dealing with dispatch and delivery paperwork.
Pay Rates & Contract
* Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour flat rate
* Contract: Temporary, short-term placement
* Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Hours & Shifts
* Dayshift Only: Monday to Friday (No weekend work required)
* 07:30am - 17:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
* 07:30am - 15:00pm (Friday)
* Consistent Weekday Hours: Early Friday finishes
* Immediate Starts Available
