About the Role Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will involve supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes impacting care and updating care plans accordingly.
Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication needs.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests and concerns are addressed appropriately.
About You To succeed, you will embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
