Your New Role
As a Post Design Support Engineer, you will primarily be working with a group offantastic engineers, who are devoted to developing, testing and equipping Pilots from around the globe with cutting edge Pilot Flight Equipment and Survival Technologies.
The Experience and Skills You Will Have
Key responsibilities for the Product Technical Trainer/Coordinator include but are not limited to:-
1. Acting as a customer relationship co-ordinator.
2. Engaging with customers through various channels, to ensure clear, concise, and empathetic communication to resolve issues satisfactorily.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems reported by customers and collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
4. Support the Quality and Safety teams by co-ordinating quality and safety investigations.
5. Monitoring Key Performance Indictors: generating reports on recurring issues that can pre-emptively address potential problems and enhance overall system reliability and safety.
6. Provide internal and external product training. Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions to build a knowledgeable and proficient support team.
7. Maintain and review comprehensive documentation, including maintenance manuals, Modification leaflets and engineering change requests.
Participate in product qualification and testing.

Essential Criteria
Must have a passport, and a full driving licence. Global and UK travel is essential to the role.
·Proven experience as a Piot Flight Equipment/ Survival Equipment Technical Trainer or maintainer, holding a recognised civilian or military instructor qualification.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts in an easy to understand manner, catering to a variety of learning styles.
·Interpersonal skills to create a comfortable learning environment and to interact with students of diverse backgrounds and technical proficiency.
·Problem-solving skills to identify learning difficulties and adapt teaching methods accordingly, as well as troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during training sessions.
·Patience and a supportive approach to assist trainees in grasping concepts and techniques, which they may find challenging.
·Organizational skills to prepare class materials, create lesson plans, coordinate training schedules, and manage class records.
·Ability to keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the industry, to update the curriculum and provide current and relevant training.
Experience and qualifications
· University degree level in Engineering or Aerospace (desirable)
· 2-5 years of wide and deep general experience of providing expert engineering competence
· Product Safety and FMECA/DFEMEA experience
