Primary Teaching Assistant – Andover (SP10) Pay: £13.75 per hour Contract: Full-time, Term-time only Start Date: September 2025 Teaching Personnel are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a local primary school in Andover (SP10) this September. About the role: In this role you will support the class teacher to ensure that all pupils can access learning and make progress. Key tasks include: Supporting pupils during lessons and small group interventions Assisting with reading practice, maths activities, and topic work Helping children who have additional learning needs Preparing and setting up classroom materials Encouraging pupils to be confident, independent learners Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment What we’re looking for: Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting Good communication skills and a friendly manner Patience, resilience, and a willingness to learn An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply) This is a rewarding role where you can directly influence pupils’ learning and confidence.
