We are seeking a Multi Skilled Vehicle Repair Technician to join our team in Kingston upon Hull.
The role involves performing various vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately to improve workflow.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect, recognize, and report vehicle structure and paintwork issues.
* Ensure vehicles meet safety standards upon return to customers.
* Remove and store vehicle components, fluids, and gases safely.
* Dispose of vehicle components and fluids responsibly.
* Perform quality control and sign off repairs.
* Report faults and defects noticed during repairs.
* Maintain tools and equipment, report faults.
* Follow repair methods as per job pack and manufacturer guidelines.
* Replace and repair panels, prepare surfaces for painting.
* Apply paint accurately, including mixing and using spray booths.
* Prepare repaired areas for topcoat, apply topcoat, and finish with polishing.
* Follow health and safety protocols.
* Document all work accurately.
* Protect customer vehicles during repairs.
* Complete quality checks and audits as per standards.
Skills and experience:
* Minimum 5 years in vehicle body repair, including painting and panel work.
* Full UK driving license.
* Willing to obtain relevant qualifications.
* ATA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
* Experience in bodyshop repairs.
* Team player with initiative, flexible, and responsible.
