About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise our end-to-end supply chain operations. Working closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial and external partners, you will ensure products are manufactured, shipped and delivered on time, at the right cost and with exceptional service levels.
This role is critical in supporting our growth across retail, international markets and DTC. You will drive operational excellence, improve processes and build a supply chain that scales with the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management
· Own production planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation across all channels (retail, DTC, international).
· Own componentry and raw materials purchasing, aligned to production and sales forecast.
· Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent out-of-stocks and overstock situations.
· Monitor sell-in/sell-out data and adjust forecasts proactively.
· Manage safety stock, lead times and replenishment cycles.
2. Supplier & Manufacturing Management
* Track production timelines, MOQs and capacity planning.
* Drive cost optimisation through supply chain efficiencies and performance analysis.
* Manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers across UK, US and China.
* Improve supplier performance through KPIs, service levels and feedback loops.
* Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with product and packaging standards.
3. Logistics & Distribution
* Oversee inbound and outbound logistics across UK, US and other markets.
* Work with 3PL partners to optimise fulfilment, shipping performance and cost efficiency.
* Resolve logistical issues such as delays, shortages and freight discrepancies.
* Improve shipping processes for DTC orders and retail replenishment.
4. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, speed and cost efficiency.
* Lead systems and workflow upgrades (ERP, WMS, inventory tracking tools).
* Build and maintain SOPs across supply chain processes.
* Deliver continuous improvement initiatives that reduce COGS and improve margins.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing and NPD teams on new product launches and retailer initiatives.
* Support Finance with COGS analysis, forecasting and cashflow planning.
* Provide operational insights to leadership and contribute to quarterly business reviews.
Key Skills & Experience
* 4+ years’ experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics (ideally in beauty, consumer goods, or FMCG).
* Strong understanding of inventory planning, forecasting and demand management.
* Experience working with manufacturers, 3PLs and global logistics providers.
* Strong understanding of U.S. import processes, customs documentation, duty calculations and compliance requirements for consumer goods
* Strong working knowledge of Mintsoft (3PL/WMS), Cin7 (inventory & demand planning).
* Solid analytical skills with advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
* Proven ability to solve problems quickly and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on execution.
