Location: Witney
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Are you an experienced Buyer looking to join a small team but large company?
We're seeking a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Buyer to manage purchasing activities, source products, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain optimal stock levels. You'll play a key role in ensuring our supply chain meets customer demand while maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue and manage purchase orders using our MRP system
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability
Negotiate contracts and pricing to meet company targets
Collaborate across departments to forecast and fulfil purchasing needs
Monitor supplier performance and manage improvements where necessary
Maintain accurate stock levels to ensure supply without overstocking
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office; MRP/ERP experience beneficial
CIPS qualification desirable
