Quality Assurance Lead, Children's Social Care

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Lead for Quality Assurance who has experience with quality assurance and conference and review to provide short term sickness absence. You will play a pivotal leadership role in driving high standards of practice and service delivery across the Directorate. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Proven management experience, with the ability to lead, inspire and develop multi-disciplinary teams in a complex social care environment.
• Extensive social work experience, underpinned by a strong understanding of statutory responsibilities, safeguarding practice and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, identify themes and trends, and translate insights into measurable service improvements.
• Considerable experience in report writing, producing high-quality analytical and evaluative reports for a range of forums and senior leaders
• Experience of managing Conference and Review Services, ensuring effective oversight, professional challenge and consistency of practice.
• Strong engagement and communication skills, with the ability to gather staff feedback, interpret workforce insights and present findings confidently across a range of internal and external forums.

What you need:
1. A degree in Social Work or equivalent
2. Registered with Social Work England
3. Completed relevant post-qualifying training
4. Enhanced DBS check
5. Excellent communication and written skills
