This role will provide exposure to a broad range of accounting duties while offering flexibility and the opportunity to further develop your skills within a supportive finance environment.About the JobReporting to the Finance Director, the Accounts Assistant will support the finance team by ensuring the accurate processing of transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing general administrative support.The successful candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:Assist with daily accounting tasks and data entryProcess purchase ledger invoicesProcess supplier invoices for approval, complete monthly creditor reconciliations, and prepare supplier payments Complete monthly creditor reconciliationsPost bank transactions dailyReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsReconcile company credit cards and ensure receipts are uploaded and recorded accuratelyMaintain accurate filing of financial documentsSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting regulationsYour Skills & ExperienceAt least 2 years experience in a similar finance or accounts roleExperience completing bank reconciliationsBasic understanding of accounting principlesStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsBasic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (training will be provided)Willingness to learn and follow instructionsFor further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.Benefits:Work From HomeWHJS1_NI
