About Our Client

Job Description
3. Sourcing and analysing insights from a variety of channels, and using this to identify opportunities for NPD and to formulate innovation pipelines.
4. Identifying and tracking food trends and new product launches across the broader market
5. Supporting the business to delve into new and emerging spaces, where limited historic data exists, enabling them to be ahead of the curve
6. Supporting commercial/sales team with insights to strengthen and influence customer conversations and decision-making
7. Translating data and insights into engaging story telling in order to deliver compelling customer presentations, range reviews and new business opportunities
8. Working cross-functionally with Commercial, NPD, Finance and Leadership teams to embed data led decision making across the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category & Insights Manager should have:
9. Experience in an insight, commercial, category, or innovation role within food manufacturing
10. Ability to analyse and interpret data from multiple formal and informal sources (ideally with exposure to the likes of Kantar, Circana, Nielsen, Dunnhumby)
11. Commercial mindset with the confidence to influence stakeholders and customers
12. Strong communication and storytelling skills
