Royal Voluntary Service has an opportunity available for a Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to join our team, working from home. You will join us on full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary of £44,095 per annum.
Royal Voluntary Service mobilises volunteers to support people in need and the NHS. Our volunteers work with healthcare teams and in communities providing practical help and emotional support when people are struggling to cope.

About the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager role:
Royal Voluntary Service is seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to join its fundraising team in an essential new role. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver sustainable income growth across major gifts and corporate partnerships, with major donor fundraising representing a brand-new income stream for the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing and managing a high-value pipeline of individual donors and corporate supporters, securing five- and six-figure funding through strategic partnerships, sponsorship and philanthropy. The role will focus on building new partnerships and growing philanthropic income, creating compelling and tailored propositions that align the organisation’s impact with donor and business objectives. You will play a key role in driving measurable income growth while establishing long-term, sustainable funding relationships.
Hours: 35 per week, Monday - Friday.
Location: Homebased with occasional national travel
Job Requirements

* Proven success securing significant income from major donors and/or corporate partnerships.

* Experience negotiating and delivering corporate sponsorship or partnership agreements.

Job Responsibilities
This is what you'll be doing:
* Develop and deliver major donor and corporate fundraising strategies to grow income, including identifying, researching, and cultivating high value prospects.
* Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and corporate partners, securing high value gifts and partnerships through skilled negotiation, effective relationship building, excellent stewardship and strong retention.
* Create compelling proposals, cases for support, sponsorship and campaign packages, and impact reports tailored to donor and corporate partner interests to bring new funders on board.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, senior leadership, trustees and ambassadors to leverage networks, share insight, and maximise opportunities for partner promotion, cultivation and stewardship.
* Plan and deliver cultivation activities such as meetings, events, service visits, and networking opportunities to help deepen engagement.
* Maintain accurate pipeline and income reporting, including tracking KPIs, setting and tracking income against agreed targets, forecasting, and keeping CRM systems up to date (Raiser’s Edge NXT, HubSpot).
* Line management of the Corporate Fundraiser, including setting KPIs, personal and professional development and helping them to contribute to meeting ambitious targets as part of the partnership income team.
* Support the wider fundraising team and its operations, including ensuring compliance with GDPR etc. and contributing to the overall fundraising strategy.
