Seasonal Assistant Ecologist — £26,440–£27,440 per annum dependant on experience

What you'll work on
ProtectedSpeciesSurveys, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments, Habitat Management Plans, and Ecological Clerk of Works.

All applicants must have
* A degree in an ecology or environmental discipline, or equivalent demonstrated workplace experience
* An interest in a career in ecology
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to travel nationally and undertake fieldwork, including overnight stays
* Willingness to work early mornings and late evenings for survey work
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with standard IT and field data tools
* The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
You’ll carry out ecological surveys and assessments across a range of habitats and species groups, record field data accurately, contribute to written reports, and support project logistics under the guidance of senior staff.
