Our client, based in West London, is currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a short-term temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate is circa £20 per hour via Umbrella, negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a background working in social housing, specifically with the elderly and hold an Enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing a 61 unit scheme
2. Carrying out welfare checks on residents
3. Performing estate inspections and report repairs to the maintenance team
4. Monitoring and reporting any breaches of tenancy agreements
5. Ensuring that units aren’t void within the scheme
6. Mediating any anti-social behaviour within the scheme
7. Applying a knowledge of health and safety legislation
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
9. Good organisational and time management skills
10. Experience resolving complaints or negative consumer feedback
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
12. Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation
13. Experience working within a housing scheme
Working hours:
14. 30 hours
15. Monday – Friday (potential for flexibility on hours)
16. 10am – 4pm
