Residential Property Paralegal
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Paralegal to join a supportive and forward-thinking team in Chesterfield.
The Role:
As a Residential Property Paralegal, you’ll provide essential support to a Conveyancer across a broad range of residential property matters. This varied role will include:
* Communicating with clients by phone and email
* Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
* Reviewing title and property documents and preparing contract packs
* Handling enquiries and assisting with research
* Managing administrative tasks, records and accounts
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong academics, including GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook essential)
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with great attention to detail
* Previous experience supporting fee earners in residential conveyancing (desirable)
This role offers excellent prospects for development, with the potential to pursue formal training programmes and qualifications after probation.
