The Role
Our client is seeking a Stock Controller to support stock accuracy and inventory control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves carrying out regular stock counts, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring stock reports are reliable to support operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular stock counts across the factory to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Ensure correct stock rotation and identify stock discrepancies with Planning and Management teams.
* Verify system-generated stock reports following stock counts.
* Support additional product tracking activities during promotions or business requirements.
* Maintain accurate and timely completion of stock transactions and paperwork.
* Assist with general stock control and inventory integrity across the site.
* Carry out additional duties as required by management.
Skills & Experience
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Reliable and organised approach to work.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Understanding of health & safety responsibilities within a manufacturing environment.
* Willingness to undertake Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety training.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
* Understanding of stock control or warehouse processes.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Commitment to food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
