Location & Working Hours
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire - Hybrid working available
Hours: 45 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours available
Compensation
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per year + £6,700 annual car allowance + private healthcare + additional benefits

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Oxford team and collaborating closely with Network Rail on the Oxford Station Phase 2 works. This major upgrade aims to enhance capacity by constructing an additional platform and associated track through the existing operational station.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Leading cost control efforts on your projects and providing support to site teams as needed.
* Guiding the commercial teams to secure maximum sustainable value from contracts and ensuring fair subcontract settlements.
* Compiling monthly payment applications for clients and tracking certification and payments.
* Breaking down costs to site activity level for clarity and transparency.
* Collaborating with project operational staff to ensure profitable and commercial aspects of site decisions are understood and documented.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Proven experience in quantity surveying within rail or civil engineering projects.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and contracts effectively.
