We're supporting a regional contractor with a strong track record working on heavy civil engineering projects along the south coast, to find a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role offers the chance to lead high-value projects, manage costs from tender to final account, and mentor junior surveyors.
Key responsibilities:
* Overseeing all commercial aspects from procurement to final account
* Leading subcontractor negotiations and contract administration
* Preparing detailed cost reports, valuations and forecasts
* Implementing cost control measures to maximise project profitability
* Collaborating closely with site teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget
* Supporting and developing junior team members
