About the Role
Working autonomously across the South West region (EX areas), you will deliver high‑quality oncology care directly to patients in their homes. You’ll administer a range of haematology and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, ensuring safe, compassionate, person‑centred care. Alongside patient‑facing work, you’ll also contribute to the development of other clinicians, helping to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practice across services.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer chemotherapy treatments in line with patient care plans
* Provide expert clinical assessment, IV therapy, cannulation, and phlebotomy
* Support and mentor other clinicians to enhance service quality
* Build long‑term therapeutic relationships with patients and carers
* Document clinical data and adverse events accurately and promptly
* Travel independently across your regional area (full UK driving licence required)
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will be:
* NMC‑registered
* Fully competent in administering a range of chemotherapy drugs
* Holder of a SACT Passport (preferred) or equivalent chemotherapy qualification
* Experienced in oncology care within hospital or community settings
* Skilled in IV administration, cannulation, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment
* Passionate about person‑centred care and supporting others
