Team Leader - National SM Retail (m/f/d)
For our location in Milton Keynes we are looking for a Team Leader - National SM Retail (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
* Lead by example in building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, tracking key sales metrics, and ensuring team performance aligns with national targets. Prepare reports and provide updates to leadership.
* Manage, mentor, and support sales representatives in prospecting, closing deals, and achieving targets.
* Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, oversee onboarding, and provide necessary training and resources for career development. Identifying areas for improvement to ensure the continual growth and performance of the salesforce.
* Collaborate with leadership to implement the national sales strategy, ensuring effective communication between the sales team and senior management. Align local initiatives with overall business goals.
* Ensure understanding of customer requirements and positioning our products as the best solution to enhance their business success
* Ensure effective utilization of CRM tools for accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic decision-making.
* Support the sales teams in complex proposals and contract negotiations, retaining valuable accounts,, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing, operations, and retail service teams to align sales initiatives, ensuring market insights and customer needs are effectively addressed.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, sales calls, and lead follow-ups.
* Continuously educate the Team and yourself on Bizerba’s product lines and monitor competitive activity within the marketplace to ensure that Team stays ahead of trends and competitors
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, complemented by extensive expertise in retail hardware, software solutions, and services.
* Proven success in Sales, consistently driving year-over-year revenue growth.
* First leadership experience or experience as a Team Lead, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales teams.
* Skilled in presenting retail solutions, effectively demonstrating their value in addressing customer challenges and conveying complex technology concepts to non-specialist audiences.
* Strong ability to work independently, managing multiple projects with initiative, self-motivation, and efficiency.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging external customers and collaborating with internal teams.
* Proven success in cold calling, leveraging a proactive, persuasive, and persistent approach with a professional competitive drive to win.
* Results-oriented and highly motivated, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience in CRM software.
