Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Duties
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Maintain accurate records of children's activities and development.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A genuine passion for childcare and early years education.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
* Driving licence preferred but not essential for the role.
