This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in keeping production moving efficiently, ensuring materials, systems, and processes all align to meet demand.The RoleAs Production Controller, youll be at the heart of operationscoordinating production orders, managing system activity, and ensuring everything is in place to keep manufacturing running smoothly.Key responsibilities include:Managing and progressing production orders in line with schedulesMonitoring material availability and resolving shortagesControlling ERP/MRP system transactions and correcting errorsCoordinating subcontract processes and maintaining delivery timelinesChasing overdue production orders and minimising delaysSupporting communication across production, planning, stores, and suppliersMaintaining accurate system data and production recordsWhat Were Looking ForExperience in production control, planning, or manufacturing coordinationStrong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsExcellent organisation and prioritisation skillsAbility to problem-solve and resolve production issues quicklyConfident communicator able to work cross-functionallyGood Excel / Microsoft Office capabilityExperience in fabrication, sheet metal, or component manufacturing (desirable)Whats On OfferSalary up to £38,165 depending on experienceProfit-related bonus scheme25 days holiday bank holidaysEnhanced pension contributionsLife assurance (5x salary)Additional benefits including wellbeing support, training, and on-site parkingWhy Apply?This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, detail-driven role in a dynamic production environment.
